~Canal Flats is located 18 kilometers (12 miles) south of Fairmont Hot Springs and it is a place where one can experience Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep and deer roaming the streets. Canal Flats offers a variety of amenities, such as a public beach, arena, golf course, walking trails and parks and of course a couple of cafes, a pizza place and pub!

Invermere is located 24 kilometers (15 miles) north of Fairmont Hot Springs, Invermere on the Lake Invermere is situated within the Columbia River Wetlands, North America’s largest intact wetland and a Ramsar-designated site.
