Make the most of your ownership.

If you’re unable to use your villa during your reserved week, you can choose to make it available through the Fairmont Mountainside Villas Rental Program. Our team will market and manage your villa on your behalf, providing an opportunity to generate rental income while introducing new guests to the Mountainside Villas experience.

    Rental Program Agreement

    The following terms and conditions apply to participation in the Fairmont Mountainside Villas Rental Program.

    Rental Rates Rental rates are determined and published by Fairmont Mountainside Villa Management (FMVM) and may vary throughout the year based on seasonality, market demand and occupancy.
    Management Commission Fairmont Mountainside Villa Management (FMVM) retains a 25% commission on gross rental revenue. If a booking is secured through a travel agency, the applicable agency commission will also apply.
    Rental Availability Fairmont Mountainside Villa Management will make every reasonable effort to secure rental bookings for your villa. While every opportunity is pursued, rental bookings cannot be guaranteed and are accepted on a first-available basis.
    Owner Payments Rental proceeds will be processed within 30 days following the close of the month in which the rental stay occurs. If your villa is not rented, we’ll simply let you know. Unless otherwise requested, rental proceeds will automatically be applied to your owner account. Owners who prefer to receive payment by cheque may request this by notifying the Reservations team at least 30 days in advance.
    Owner Use of Your Villa Once your villa has been placed in the Rental Program, it will generally no longer be available for personal use during the selected dates. If your plans change, please contact Fairmont Mountainside Villa Management to confirm whether your villa remains available before making travel arrangements.
    Rental Cancellations Occasionally, a confirmed rental may be cancelled. While Fairmont Mountainside Villa Management will always do its best to secure another booking, replacement rentals cannot be guaranteed. Should your villa become available again, you’re welcome to use it by notifying our team before your arrival.
    Annual Maintenance Fees Participation in the Rental Program does not affect your responsibility for annual maintenance fees. Owner accounts must remain current to participate in the program.
    Additional Housekeeping Each owner entitlement includes one housekeeping service per week. If your villa is occupied by more than one rental party during the same week, an additional housekeeping fee of $125 plus GST will apply.
